Part B


We did two tests on two separate days for added accuracy of results.

By setting up two photogate sensors on two different parts of the track, we allowed all of the shapes travel through the two points and taking the timing required. The distance between the two photogate sensors is established as 48.1cm. The following results are the time taken for the car to travel a distance of 48.1cm. By finding the time and distance, we are easily able to find the speed of the car because of the equation
Speed = Distance/Time
